Responsibilities

• Assist Service Manager with day-to-day operations and workload distribution.
• Use service tools to generate and manage work orders and determine time estimates.
• Document problems, causes, and corrections on IDS work orders.
• Coordinate with manufacturers and extended warranty companies for approval and payment safeguards.
• Greet customers, assess needs, and communicate work order details to technicians.
• Answer calls promptly and maintain professional communication with customers.
• Promote additional labor, parts and accessories when appropriate.
• Capture customer signatures and obtain upfront payment where possible.
• Schedule and follow up on sublet contractors and ensure quality before delivery.
• Maintain organized and timely paperwork and invoicing.
• Close and finalize work orders; ensure all details are accurate.
