Job summary

OneWater Marine Pensacola - Harbor View is seeking a Service Advisor to deliver outstanding customer service, schedule service work, and manage repair orders. The role emphasizes efficient workflow, accurate documentation, and proactive customer communication in a busy marine service environment.

The ideal candidate has a high school diploma and 2–3 years in customer service or service advisory roles, preferably in marine/automotive settings, with knowledge of marine equipment and terminology.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent (required).
• 2-3 years of customer service or service advisor experience, preferably in automotive/marine industries.
• Experience in a service department; marine service experience a strong advantage.
• Knowledge of marine equipment, boats, engines, and parts preferred.
• Familiarity with basic marine maintenance and repair terminology.

Responsibilities

• Schedules service work and processes orders efficiently.
• Maintains repair records for supervision and control.
• Manages technician workflow and schedules repair orders.
• Writes up customer concerns and provides timely estimates for approval.
• Collaborates with service manager to improve processes and efficiency.
• Builds positive customer and manufacturer relationships to strengthen loyalty.
• Assists in determining materials and parts to stock and sell.
• Resolves customer complaints promptly and improves service.
• Obtains warranty approvals in a timely manner.
• Keeps customers informed about repair status and completion.
• Performs quality checks on finished boats and repairs.
• Assists in evaluating technician productivity and training needs.
• Monitors and implements legal compliance measures.
