Orion is seeking an experienced crane operator to support marine construction projects at field locations. The role involves operating hydraulic rubber tire or track cranes, loading and maneuvering heavy equipment, and assisting in assembly of hoisting gear on barges and docks.

Applicants should have at least two years of crane operation experience, ability to read load charts, rigging knowledge, and the capability to pass a crane operations certification test.

Qualifications

• Two+ years crane operations experience on land and barges.
• Ability to read crane load charts to determine load/radius.
• General construction rigging knowledge (slings, chokers, bars).
• Capable of passing crane operations certification test.

Responsibilities

• Operate cranes and hoisting equipment to support marine projects.
• Unloader/assemble crane components for marine construction activities.
• Safely maneuver loads over designated areas and monitor load lines.
• Perform daily maintenance: greasing, oiling, fueling of equipment.
