Qualifications

• Minimum two years crane operations experience on land and on barges or equivalent.
• Read crane load charts to determine load and radius capabilities.
• General knowledge of construction rigging: slings, chokers, spreader bars, load blocks.
• Able to pass crane operations certification test.

Responsibilities

• Operate a crane on marine construction sites as directed by the Barge Foreman.
• Unloading and assembling crane equipment for marine construction activities.
• Use hook operations to swing rig, raise and lower loads safely.
• Move loads over designated areas with precision and care.
• Perform daily safety inspections and maintain equipment.
• Work with safety and environmental programs to ensure compliance.
