Qualifications

• Two years crane operations on land or barges required.
• Ability to read crane load charts for load/radius capacity.
• General rigging knowledge with slings, chokers, spreader bars.
• Capable of passing crane operations certification test.

Responsibilities

• Operate a hydraulic crane on marine projects and on barges.
• Assist in unloading and assembling crane equipment for use on site.
• Swing rig, raise/lower crane boom and loads safely.
• Position loads over designated areas with precision and control.
• Follow safety procedures and perform daily equipment checks.
• Coordinate with Barge Foreman, welders, and laborers to complete tasks.
• Maintain equipment through cleaning, greasing, and fueling.
• Participate in safety/environmental initiatives.
