Job summary

Orion Group Holdings seeks a Crane Operator to support field operations at marine project locations, operating hydraulic rubber tire or track cranes, and coordinating with the Barge Foreman and welders.

Responsibilities include unloading and assembling hoisting equipment, reading load charts, performing daily safety inspections, and maintaining equipment. Must have at least two years crane operation experience and pass a crane operations certification test.

Qualifications

• Minimum two years crane operations experience on land and on barges.
• Ability to read crane load charts for load and radius calculations.
• Capability to pass a crane operations certification test.

Responsibilities

• Operate hydraulic rubber tire or track crane with hoist during marine construction.
• Assist in unloading and assembling crane hoisting equipment for projects.
• Perform daily safety inspections and routine maintenance of equipment.
• Coordinate with Barge Foreman, Welders, and Laborers to complete projects safely.
