Job summary

Mercury Marine, a division of Brunswick Corporation, is searching for a Business Development Manager to grow the dealer network and increase sales across the defined territory. The role requires coaching, strategic planning, and strong cross-functional collaboration with dealers, OEMs, and customers in a fast-paced environment.

The BDM will travel extensively (60% overnight) to dealer locations, boat shows, and events, developing growth plans and ensuring Mercury corporate policies are followed.

Qualifications

• Must have at least a Bachelor's Degree in Business Management, Marketing or equivalent.
• Minimum 3 to 5 years of related business work experience within the Marine or Recreational Industry or in Sales/Marketing.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, and cross-functional collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain relationships with Mercury Marine dealers and prospective new dealers.
• Coach, consult, and grow sales volume, market share and profitability.
• Travel to multiple Mercury dealer locations; overnight travel 60%+ as required.
• Present key selling points and product knowledge to exceed customer needs.
