Job summary

Mercury Marine, a division of Brunswick Corporation, is seeking a Business Development Manager to grow the Mercury Marine dealer network across WA, OR, ID, MT, WY and AK. This role requires coaching dealers, planning territory growth, and achieving sales profitability targets.

Based in the defined territory, the BDM will travel extensively, attend shows, and ensure compliance with Mercury corporate policies while delivering strong market presence.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Management, Marketing or equivalent.
• 3–5 years of related experience in Marine/Recreational Sales or Marketing.
• Strong communication skills, verbal and written.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to travel ≥60% overnight.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and CRM tools.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain relationships with Mercury Marine dealers and prospective dealers.
• Coach, consult, and grow sales with measurable objectives.
• Use data to identify opportunities and discuss them with dealers.
• Travel to dealer locations and attend boat shows and events.
• Collaborate with inside sales, service and credit personnel to hit territory goals.
