Job summary

The LEGO Group in Richmond, VA is seeking a Manufacturing Job Trainer to build workforce capability, strengthen safety and quality, and ensure consistent performance across production shifts at our Temp Pack site on Ruffin Mill Rd.

This role collaborates with engineering, operations, maintenance and global teams to develop training materials, assess skills, and drive continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in production, warehouse, or manufacturing.
• Proven success delivering training in high‑volume environments.
• TWI experience preferred
• Knowledge of equipment operation, automation, and safety compliance.
• Strong communication, organization, and coaching skills.
• Ability to work a 12‑hour 2‑2‑3 schedule (6am–6pm).

Responsibilities

• Deliver hands‑on operator training and floor coaching.
• Train employees on equipment operation, material handling, safety, and quality.
• Use defined methods, standardized instructions, and approved documentation.
• Conduct cross‑shift training to ensure consistency and reduce errors.
• Provide corrective retraining and reinforce SOP adherence and continuous improvement.
• Dedicate 30% of time to structured training and skill development.
