Job summary

LEGO Group's LEGO Manufacturing Virginia is seeking a Pre-Pack Manufacturing Technician to support daily production, troubleshoot issues, coach team members, and help meet safety, quality, and performance goals. You will work on a fast-paced line, monitor WIP and equipment performance, assist with line changeovers, and participate in root cause analysis and continuous improvement with LCIs.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1–2 years of experience in manufacturing or similar environment.
• Ability to troubleshoot production and operational issues.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Excel and Word, with basic familiarity with ERP or inventory database systems.
• Ability to read and interpret SOPs, training docs, and safety protocols.
• Strong verbal communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to perform basic math and measurements for productivity and equipment efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Support daily production operations to meet safety, quality, delivery, and performance targets.
• Serve as first line of support for production and equipment issues and coordinate escalation as needed.
• Monitor production flow, WIP, equipment performance, and bottlenecks; adjust priorities accordingly.
• Assist with equipment operation, line changeovers, adjustments, and troubleshooting per SOPs.
• Provide floor leadership support: shift huddles, assignments, priorities, and cross-team communication.
• Support onboarding, coaching and on-the-job training for production staff.
• Identify recurring issues and participate in root cause analysis and corrective actions.
• Contribute to LEGO Continuous Improvement (LCI) activities to improve safety, quality, and productivity.
• Maintain and audit shift metrics, scrap, downtime, and equipment performance.
