Job summary

The LEGO Group in Richmond, VA seeks a Manufacturing Job Trainer to develop workforce capability, strengthen safety and quality, and ensure consistent performance across all production shifts. The role focuses on hands‑on coaching, structured training, and cross‑functional collaboration with engineering and operations teams.

Starting pay is $27.50/hr with a 2-2-3 day shift schedule. Hybrid work is available, and the position emphasizes standardized work, SOP adherence, and continuous improvement

Qualifications

• 2+ years in production, warehouse, or manufacturing.
• Proven success delivering training in high‑volume environments.
• TWI experience preferred.
• Knowledge of equipment operation, automation, and safety compliance.
• Strong communication, organization, and coaching skills.
• Ability to work a 12‑hour 2‑2‑3 schedule (6am–6pm).

Responsibilities

• Deliver hands‑on operator training and floor coaching.
• Train employees on equipment operation, material handling, safety, and quality.
• Use defined methods, standardized instructions, and approved documentation.
• Conduct cross‑shift training to ensure consistency and reduce errors.
• Provide corrective retraining and reinforce SOP adherence and continuous improvement.
• Dedicate 30% of time to structured training and skill development.
