Insight Global is seeking a Business Development Representative to drive new opportunities in the manufacturing and industrial technology sector. This permanent, on-site role is based in Maple Plains, MN and involves high-volume outbound prospecting, relationship building, and qualifying opportunities for Account Executives.

The ideal candidate has 0–3 years experience, strong communication skills, and a drive to succeed in software and industrial solutions sales.

Qualifications

• 0–3 years in Business Development, Sales Development, Recruiting, Customer Success, or related client-facing role.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Comfortable making outbound cold calls and initiating conversations with business leaders.
• Highly organized with strong time management skills.
• Competitive, ambitious, and results-driven mindset.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
• Experience using CRM systems such as Salesforce, HubSpot, Microsoft Dynamics, or similar platforms preferred.

Responsibilities

• Execute high-volume outbound prospecting activities (phone, email, LinkedIn, etc.).
• Identify and engage decision makers within manufacturing organizations.
• Qualify prospects by uncovering business challenges and technology needs.
• Schedule meetings and product demonstrations for Account Executives and Sales Leaders.
• Maintain accurate pipeline records within CRM platforms.
• Develop and nurture relationships with prospects through follow-up and value-based communication.
• Meet and exceed KPIs related to outreach, meetings booked, and pipeline generation.
• Collaborate with marketing and sales leadership to improve outreach strategies.
