Job summary

pladis is seeking a results-driven Recruiter to manage full-cycle recruitment and onboarding for hourly and salaried roles at the Big Flats manufacturing site. You will partner with the HR Manager, maintain a proactive candidate pipeline, and drive efficient onboarding and conversion of temps based on performance.

The role requires 1–3 years in recruitment or HR coordination, strong communication, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of experience in recruitment, onboarding, or HR coordination, preferably in manufacturing or high-volume environments.
• Strong organisational, interpersonal, and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Teams, Outlook).
• Workday experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Manage full-cycle recruitment for hourly and salaried roles within the manufacturing plant.
• Partner with HR Manager to understand staffing needs and develop sourcing strategies.
• Maintain a proactive pipeline of candidates for high-volume hourly positions.
• Screen, interview, and assess candidates for role requirements and culture fit.
• Coordinate onboarding for new hires and ensure policy compliance.
• Track temporary employees and conversions based on performance and attendance.
• Utilize ATS to manage requisitions and candidate flow efficiently.
• Ensure requisitions have ATRs and comply with EEO and diversity initiatives.
• Collaborate with HR and Operations to forecast workforce needs and retention strategies.
• Provide regular updates and reporting on recruitment metrics to leadership.
• Manage relationships with temporary staffing agencies and external partners.
