Andersen Corporation is seeking an Engineering Technician to provide technical support on a Cottage Grove, MN manufacturing line. You will troubleshoot and optimize processes, collaborate with operations, quality, engineering, and maintenance, and contribute to continuous improvement projects.

The role requires a 4-year technical degree, strong analytical and mechanical skills, and proficiency with 2D/3D modeling tools such as AutoCAD or Inventor.

Qualifications

• Requires a 4-year technical degree or equivalent, plus strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to troubleshoot complex manufacturing processes.
• Proficient communication skills and ability to present technical information clearly.

Responsibilities

• Provide operational technical support for existing manufacturing applications and processes.
• Collaborate with operations, quality, engineering, and maintenance to resolve issues.
• Develop training tools, documents, and SOPs for production processes.
• Participate in continuous improvement activities and project-based work.
• Estimate schedules and resources for small to mid-scale projects.
• Prepare detailed documentation for functional areas or projects.
• Design, build, and test models or prototypes related to product improvements.
