Job summary

Andersen Corporation is seeking an Electro/Mechanical Technician in Minnesota to troubleshoot and repair complex production equipment, including PLCs, drives, servo systems, HMI, CNC, and MES integrations. The role involves mentoring technicians, driving continuous improvement, and upholding electrical safety per NFPA 79.

Responsibilities include preventative maintenance, parts coordination, vendor liaison, and fabrication of fixtures.

Qualifications

• 2 Year degree or equivalent with 5+ years related experience.
• Strong PLC/electromechanical troubleshooting skills on manufacturing equipment.
• Ability to read mechanical, electrical, fluid power, and building prints.
• Proficient in using testing equipment for electrical/mechanical diagnostics.
• Knowledge of lockout/tagout procedures and PPE requirements.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair PLCs, drives, servo systems, HMI, CNC, and MES interfaces.
• Perform preventive maintenance and document work performed.
• Coordinate with vendors and manage replacement parts inventory.
• Fabricate fixturing and machine components; assist in machine installation and testing.
• Support TPM objectives and continuous improvement initiatives.
