Andersen Corporation is seeking an Electro/Mechanical Technician II for the 1st shift in Cottage Grove, MN. The role focuses on advanced troubleshooting of manufacturing equipment, PLCs, drives, servo motors, HMI, CNC, and MES integration.

You will mentor other technicians and drive continuous improvement across production lines. The position emphasizes electrical safety, NFPA 79 compliance, and hands-on leadership in equipment upgrades, maintenance, and part/vendor coordination.

Qualifications

• 2 year degree or equivalent.
• 5 years experience in related fields.
• Ability to troubleshoot PLC and electromechanical manufacturing equipment.
• Ability to read mechanical, electrical and building prints.
• Knowledge of lockout/tagout and PPE.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair electro/mechanical manufacturing equipment.
• Mentor technicians and drive continuous improvement.
• Read and interpret mechanical, electrical, and building prints.
• Maintain electrical safety and NFPA 79 compliance.
• Order parts, contact vendors, and manage inventory.
• Perform preventative maintenance and document results.
• Support TPM objectives deployment.
