Job summary

Amcor in Oklahoma is seeking a manufacturing engineer to support safety, quality and productivity improvements across our packaging operations. You will train operators, troubleshoot processes and drive waste reduction while maintaining product quality to meet customer expectations.

The role requires a bachelor’s degree in engineering and 1–3 years of relevant experience, with strong communication, analytical skills and proficiency in standard office software.

Qualifications

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills to work with manufacturing teams.
• Analytical and problem-solving skills to address process issues.
• Knowledge of flexible packaging processes and quality standards.
• Solid time management to handle multiple projects and day-to-day problems.
• Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and SharePoint; quick to learn software.

Responsibilities

• Maintain safety as a top priority while improving production processes.
• Participate in World Class Operations and team pillars.
• Investigate causes of process and quality issues and implement solutions.
• Train operators on new equipment, procedures and changes.
• Collaborate with supervisors and maintenance to reduce downtime and waste.
• Assist with project evaluations and equipment modifications to boost productivity.
• Document procedures to safely increase machine productivity and reduce waste.
