Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience processing multi-state payroll for 500+ employees
• Proficient with ADP Workforce Now and UKG Pro
• Strong understanding of federal, state, and local payroll tax regulations
• Experience with payroll general ledger reconciliation and month-end close processes
• Ability to interpret collective bargaining agreements or union contracts in payroll

Responsibilities

• Process bi-weekly payroll for manufacturing employees with accuracy and timeliness
• Maintain employee payroll records including new hires, terminations, and pay changes
• Calculate and submit payroll taxes ensuring regulatory compliance
• Reconcile payroll data with general ledger and resolve discrepancies
• Administer and track employee benefits (health, 401k, other deductions)
• Prepare and distribute W-2 forms and year-end payroll reports
