Job summary

XeteX LLC is seeking a Production Manager to lead multiple production areas, drive safety, quality, delivery, and productivity, and mentor frontline leaders in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. The role partners with cross-functional teams to optimize resources and processes for on-time customer commitments.

Qualifications

• Experience leading teams or projects is strongly desired but not required.
• Lean manufacturing and continuous process improvement experience is preferred.
• Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) proficiency is expected.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership to production supervisors and teams across multiple areas.
• Foster accountability, teamwork and continuous improvement throughout the production organization.
• Set clear performance expectations aligned with company objectives.
• Spend significant time on the production floor supporting supervisors and removing barriers.
• Coach and mentor employees for development and succession planning.
• Participate in workforce planning including interviewing, onboarding and talent development.
• Lead daily production activities to meet schedules, quality and delivery goals.
• Coordinate resources across departments to optimize throughput.
• Monitor production metrics and address issues affecting efficiency or quality.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Quality, Supply Chain and Maintenance to resolve issues.
