Job summary

Dometic is seeking an Operations Manager for the Port St. Lucie, FL site to oversee manufacturing, supply chain, materials, warehouse, customer service, and shipping.

The role ensures day-to-day operations align with productivity goals while driving safety, quality, and cost reductions. The ideal candidate has 5+ years in manufacturing leadership, experience with lean and Kaizen, and strong ERP/MRP proficiency.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business or related field; Master’s degree preferred.
• 5+ years in a management role in manufacturing environment preferred.
• Experience with Kaizen and lean manufacturing principles.
• Experience with ERP/MRP system or similar program required.
• Strong computer and analytical skills; proficient in Word, Excel, PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

• Lead, motivate, and support a cross functional team in a fast-paced environment; develop career plans for direct reports.
• Review production schedules and inventory needs within budget and time constraints.
• Manage data collection for metrics to achieve productivity targets and quality objectives.
• Resolve production problems with technical/administrative staff.
• Develop and implement production tracking and quality control systems.
• Oversee policy deployment for lean manufacturing, cost reduction, on-time delivery, safety, and customer satisfaction.
• Design custom automated production equipment and fixtures to ensure on-time delivery of quality products.
• Provide leadership in employee relations through coaching and development.
• Participate in Continuous Improvement projects.
