Job summary

Dometic is seeking an Operations Manager for the Port St. Lucie, FL area.

You will oversee manufacturing, supply chain, materials warehouse, customer service, and shipping, providing strong leadership to maximize productivity and minimize costs while driving safety, quality, and continuous improvement. The role requires building and sustaining a high-performance team, implementing lean practices, and leveraging ERP/MRP systems to meet on-time delivery and cost targets.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business or related field; master’s preferred.
• 5+ years in a manufacturing management role (preferred).
• Knowledge/experience in manufacturing environment (electronics a plus).
• 10–15 years general experience in a related field.
• Experience with Kaizen and lean manufacturing principles.
• Experience with ERP/MRP system or similar; Intuitive system preferred.
• Strong computer and analytical skills; read/write English.

Responsibilities

• Lead, motivate, and support a cross-functional team; career development for direct reports.
• Review production schedules and orders; assess inventory, staffing, and procedures within budget/time constraints.
• Collect data for metrics; improve productivity and customer service.
• Resolve production/process problems with staff across functions.
• Develop and implement production tracking and quality control systems.
