Job summary

Dometic is seeking a Production Team Lead for the Port St Lucie, FL area. You will oversee Assemblers, read drawings and work instructions, and drive lean manufacturing practices to deliver quality products. You will report to the Production Supervisor and ensure safety, efficiency, and on-time delivery.

Ideal candidates have leadership experience in manufacturing, knowledge of Lean and Six Sigma, and the ability to lift 50 pounds and work in an electronics-focused environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Minimum 1 year of people and leadership experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma experience preferred.
• Experience in electronics manufacturing is a plus.
• Must be able to meet department KPI standards (productivity, quality, cost, and on-time delivery).
• Ability to read and understand drawings, work instructions, and bills of materials.
• Must be able to lift at least 50 pounds, stand or walk during shift.
• Must be able to read and write English.
• Strong math, analytical, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Accomplishes manufacturing results by communicating job expectations, planning, monitoring, coaching, and enforcing policies.
• Maintains workflow by monitoring process steps, control points, equipment, personnel and resources.
• Maintains quality performance by enforcing standards.
• Ensures operation of equipment by calling for repairs as needed.
• Escalates issues to the manufacturing supervisor as appropriate.
• Meets or exceeds quality and on-time delivery standards.
• Provides manufacturing insights by compiling and analyzing production data.
• Maintains a safe, clean workplace and 5-S standards; promotes safety.
