Job summary

GTI Fabrication in Goodyear, AZ, seeks a Production Manager to lead day-to-day production across a 25–100+ employee value stream. You’ll own staffing, scheduling, throughput, safety, quality, and cost, coordinating with Metal Fabrication, Welding, and Manufacturing Engineering to move work efficiently.

You bring 7–10 years of manufacturing leadership in contract manufacturing, with experience in engineered-to-order products, lean methods, and ERP/SAP.

Qualifications

• 7–10 years of progressive manufacturing leadership experience.
• Experience leading Production Supervisors and frontline teams.
• Experience in contract manufacturing, engineered-to-order, or similarly complex production environments.
• Strong knowledge of lean manufacturing, value stream mapping, Kaizen, and RPM data-driven decision-making.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily production operations for an assigned value stream from material release to final shipment.
• Own staffing, scheduling, labor allocation, throughput, and daily execution against the production plan.
• Develop and coach Production Supervisors and teams across a 25–100+ employee organization.
• Maintain safety, quality, delivery, and cost (SQDC) performance and drive continuous improvement.
• Coordinate cross-functionally with Metal Fabrication, Welding, Manufacturing Engineering, Quality, and Supply Chain to ensure smooth handoffs.
