GTI Fabrication in Buffalo, NY is seeking a Production Manager to lead day-to-day manufacturing within an engineered-to-order environment. You will own staffing, scheduling, throughput, safety, quality, delivery, and cost while developing frontline leaders.

Collaboration across metal fabrication, welding, mechanical assembly, and engineering is essential to move work smoothly through stages. Experience in contract manufacturing and complex integrated products is highly valued.

Qualifications

• 7–10 years of progressive manufacturing leadership experience.
• Experience leading Production Supervisors and frontline teams.
• Experience in contract manufacturing and engineered-to-order production.
• Strong knowledge of metal fabrication, welding, and mechanical assembly.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily production operations for an assigned value stream from material release to final shipment.
• Own staffing, scheduling, labor allocation, throughput, and daily execution against the plan.
• Develop frontline supervisors and teams across 25–100+ employees.
• Maintain safety, quality, delivery, and cost (SQDC) across the value stream.
• Identify bottlenecks and drive throughput optimization and continuous improvement.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with Metal Fabrication, Welding, Mechanical Assembly, Quality, and Supply Chain.
• Drive NPI readiness and manufacturing ramps for new products.
