Job summary

GTI Fabrication in Buffalo, NY is seeking a Production Manager to oversee daily production operations for an assigned value stream, from material release through final shipment. You will own staffing, scheduling, throughput, safety, quality, delivery, and cost while leading Production Supervisors and their teams.

The ideal candidate has 7–10 years of progressive manufacturing leadership in contract manufacturing and engineered-to-order environments, with strong knowledge of metal fabrication,

Qualifications

• 7–10 years of progressive manufacturing leadership experience.
• Experience leading Production Supervisors and frontline teams.
• Experience in contract manufacturing, engineered-to-order products.
• Strong knowledge of metal fabrication, welding, and final assembly.
• ERP/MRP experience; SAP preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily production operations for an assigned value stream from material release through final shipment.
• Own production staffing, scheduling, labor allocation, throughput, output, and execution against the plan.
• Develop Production Supervisors and their teams across a 25–100+ employee organization.
• Establish expectations and accountability for frontline leadership and production employees.
• Maintain a strong presence on the manufacturing floor, identifying issues and driving timely resolution.
• Ensure production priorities align with customer requirements, schedules, and business objectives.
• Monitor production performance and adjust labor, priorities, and resources as conditions change.
• Drive consistent execution across shifts and effective communication between teams.
