Job summary

Exotic Automation & Supply is seeking a Manufacturing Coordinator in Michigan to keep projects moving from quote to delivery. You will be the go-to contact for the Manufacturing team, inform customers and sales, and ensure orders are entered accurately in our ERP and released to production.

You will troubleshoot order issues, expedite materials with vendors to meet deadlines, build daily/weekly/monthly reports, and track department KPIs for leadership.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent. An associate’s degree in business or a technical field is a plus.
• 2+ years of operations support, order entry, customer service, or coordinator experience, ideally in manufacturing or distribution.
• Strong computer skills. ERP or business system experience is preferred.
• Clear, professional communication by phone and in writing.
• Excellent organization and attention to detail, with the ability to juggle priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• A problem-solver who works well independently and as part of a team.
• Comfort with Excel and reporting. KPI tracking experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Be the team’s point of contact; provide timely status updates to customers and sales.
• Enter and process orders in the ERP system and release to manufacturing.
• Troubleshoot order issues and assist with sourcing, returns, and non-conforming materials.
• Expedite materials and coordinate with vendors to meet deadlines.
• Build daily, weekly, and monthly reports and track department KPIs for leadership.
• Collaborate with Accounting to resolve invoice rejections and payment issues.
• Learn Exotic Automation product lines and how the Manufacturing team operates.
