Job summary

Exotic Automation & Supply Inc. is seeking a Manufacturing Coordinator to keep quotes and orders moving, enter data in the ERP system, and ensure accurate production release. You’ll troubleshoot order issues, expedite materials, and build routine performance reports.

The role emphasizes strong communication, organization, and problem-solving in a fast-paced environment, with collaboration across sales, manufacturing, and accounting. A positive, team-focused attitude is valued.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; an associate’s degree is a plus.
• 2+ years in operations support, order entry, customer service, or coordinator roles, preferably in manufacturing or distribution.
• Strong computer skills; ERP or business system experience preferred.
• Clear, professional communication by phone and in writing.
• Excellent organization and attention to detail; ability to juggle priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Problem-solver who works well independently and in a team.
• Comfort with Excel and reporting; KPI tracking experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Be the team’s point of contact; handle quotations and open orders with timely status updates.
• Enter and process orders in the ERP system, including customer info, EDI, pricing, and release to manufacturing.
• Troubleshoot order issues related to labor, materials, or pricing; assist with sourcing, returns, and non-conforming materials.
• Expedite materials and follow up with vendors to meet customer deadlines.
• Build daily, weekly, and monthly reports; maintain department KPIs for leadership decisions.
• Resolve invoice rejections, payment issues, credit card orders, and account discrepancies with Accounting.
• Learn Exotic’s product lines and the Manufacturing team’s work to build business understanding.
