Job summary

Magna Cosma International is seeking a Human Resources professional to support HRIS, recruiting, benefits, employee relations and training. You will maintain records, respond to inquiries, and help with onboarding for new hires in a manufacturing setting.

The role includes coordinating onboarding from offer through pre-hire paperwork, physicals, and orientations, with a preference for a Bachelor degree and prior HR experience in manufacturing, including compliance with FMLA, FLSA and HIPAA.

Qualifications

College degree required with preference for Human Resources or related field.
Experience in HR, preferably in manufacturing, with knowledge of FMLA, FLSA, wage-hour acts, HIPAA.
Experience recruiting for entry level hourly shop floor positions.

Responsibilities

Provides HR department administrative support for HRIS, recruiting, benefits, employee relations and training.
Maintain employee records and HR recordkeeping requirements.
Respond to employee inquiries and provide assistance.
Assist with staffing and recruiting for entry level shop floor positions.
Assist with onboarding from offer to pre-hire paperwork, physicals and onboarding.
Participates in new hire orientations.
