Job summary

Magna Mechatronics, Mirrors & Lighting seeks an HR Development & Recruiting specialist to manage onboarding, interviews, and temp-to-perm conversions within a manufacturing environment in Michigan.

You will partner with hiring managers, coordinate schedules, maintain records, ensure compliance, and support audits while delivering exceptional service to new hires and staffing partners.

Qualifications

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in HR, Business Administration, or related field.
• 2+ years of HR experience in recruiting, onboarding, or employee relations preferred.
• Experience with staffing agencies and temporary workforce management is strongly preferred.
• Manufacturing or production environment experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct internal and external candidate interviews for hourly and salaried positions.
• Partner with hiring managers to understand staffing needs and candidate requirements.
• Coordinate interview schedules and candidate communications.
• Maintain candidate tracking and hiring documentation.
• Support recruitment events, job fairs, and community outreach initiatives as needed.
• Coordinate and manage temporary-to-permanent conversions.
• Oversee onboarding processes and pre-employment requirements.
• Prepare onboarding materials and conduct orientation sessions.
