Job summary

Magna International in Victor, Iowa seeks a Generalist, Human Resources to support payroll, staffing, recruitment, and employee relations. This role helps maintain compliance and supports plant communications in a manufacturing environment.

You will work with production leadership and HR managers to ensure staffing levels, administer HR programs, and maintain accurate associate data, contributing to a positive workplace culture.

Qualifications

• Three years experience in human resources field, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
• Post secondary education in business, human resources or related field or equivalent experience.
• Excellent oral and written communications and presentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Administer payroll programs according to company policies and guidelines.
• Work with production leadership to ensure proper staffing levels are maintained.
• Conduct recruiting activities to support production requirements.
• Maintain job descriptions and associate handbook to current levels.
• Provide necessary support to Human Resources Manager and serve as backup in the manager’s absence.
