Job summary

Magna Cosma International is seeking a Human Resources professional to support HRIS, recruiting, benefits, employee relations and training. You will maintain records, respond to inquiries, and help with onboarding for new hires in a manufacturing setting.

The role includes coordinating onboarding from offer through pre-hire paperwork, physicals, and orientations, with a preference for a Bachelor degree and prior HR experience in manufacturing, including compliance with FMLA, FLSA and HIPAA.

Qualifications

• College degree required with preference for Human Resources or related field.
• Experience in HR, preferably in manufacturing, with knowledge of FMLA, FLSA, wage-hour acts, HIPAA.
• Experience recruiting for entry level hourly shop floor positions.

Job Responsibilities

• Provides Human Resources department administrative support with regards to HR information systems and databases, recruiting and staffing activities, benefits administration, employee relations, training and development, and other human resources functions.
• Maintain employee records and other HR recordkeeping requirements.
• Respond to employee inquiries or requests and provide assistance.
• Assists across multiple areas of staffing/recruiting including talent evaluation and screening for entry level hourly shop floor positions.
• Assists with the coordination of the new hire on-boarding process from offer acceptance through pre-hire paperwork, physicals, and onboarding.
• Participates in new hire orientations.
• Requires college degree (Bachelor degree preferred) in Human Resources or related business field or comparable work-related experience.
• Prior experience working in the Human Resources field is required, preferably in a manufacturing environment, including prior experience with legal issues related to FMLA, FLSA, Wage Hour Act & HIPPA, etc.
• Prior experience with recruiting and staffing is required with a strong preference for experience in recruiting for manufacturing entry level hourly shop floor positions.
