Magna International is seeking an HR professional for Ohio operations to provide administrative HR support, manage employee records, and assist with onboarding and staffing for entry level hourly positions in a manufacturing setting.

The role emphasizes HRIS utilization, benefits administration, and employee relations, with adherence to FMLA, FLSA, Wage Hour, and HIPAA requirements in a dynamic production environment.

Qualifications

• Requires college degree (Bachelor preferred) in Human Resources or related field or comparable experience.
• Prior experience in HR, preferably in manufacturing, including legal issues related to FMLA, FLSA, Wage Hour Act & HIPAA.
• Experience with recruiting and staffing for manufacturing entry level hourly shop floor positions.

Responsibilities

• Provides HR department administrative support with HR information systems, recruiting, benefits administration, employee relations, training and development.
• Maintain employee records and other HR recordkeeping requirements.
• Respond to employee inquiries or requests and provide assistance.
• Assist across staffing/recruiting including talent evaluation and screening for entry level hourly shop floor positions.
• Assist with onboarding from offer acceptance through pre-hire paperwork, physicals, and onboarding.
• Participates in new hire orientations.
