Job summary

On Target Executive Search seeks a hands-on Human Resources Manager to lead the HR function for a growing manufacturing organization with locations across New York and Florida. You will oversee talent acquisition, employee relations, compliance, HRIS administration, payroll support, benefits, and organizational development initiatives.

You will serve as HR Business Partner to management, manage full-cycle recruitment, onboarding, and offer letters, and ensure compliance with FMLA and other laws

Qualifications

• 3+ years of HR experience in manufacturing.
• HR Generalist/Manager/Business Partner roles.
• Hands-on HRIS administration and implementation.
• Experience migrating payroll, ATS, and HRIS platforms.
• Talent acquisition and employee relations experience.
• Payroll processing assistance.
• Knowledge of multi-state salaries and wage regulations.
• Experience generating offer letters and employment documentation.
• Strong employment law knowledge, especially FMLA.
• Advanced Excel and strong technology skills.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead full-cycle recruitment, workforce planning, onboarding, and offer letter generation.
• Serve as HR Business Partner to NY and Florida operations.
• Manage employee relations, performance management, investigations, and policy administration.
• Administer and optimize HRIS, ATS, payroll, onboarding, and employee management systems.
• Assist with payroll processing and compliance with multi-state pay practices.
• Support benefits administration, compensation programs, FMLA, and leave management.
• Ensure compliance with employment laws including FMLA, FLSA, ADA, and EEO requirements.
• Support safety, risk management, and HR process improvement initiatives.
• Experience supporting multi-site manufacturing facilities.
