• Proficiency with Microsoft Suite.
• Ability to work independently, collaborate across teams, and support multiple locations.
• Strong knowledge of California labor and employment law.
• Experience processing payroll, managing timekeeping systems, and reporting.
• Experience in recruiting, employee relations, performance management, benefits, leaves, and payroll support.

Responsibilities

• Manage recruiting, including candidate screening, interviews, onboarding, and new hire orientation.
• Serve as an HR resource to employees and supervisors on policies, procedures, benefits, employee relations, and workplace matters.
• Support employee relations, including investigations, coaching, corrective actions, attendance issues, performance management, and documentation.
• Maintain accurate employee records and HRIS data for new hires, terminations, transfers, promotions, compensation changes, and other personnel actions.
• Support payroll and timekeeping processes, including timecards, attendance, sick time, and employee changes.
• Administer and support benefits, leaves of absence, workers’ compensation, accommodations, and return-to-work processes.
• Coordinate employee training, support performance reviews, employee development, merit increases, and compensation processes.
• Manage employee separations, including resignations, terminations, exit interviews, documentation, and offboarding.
• Support compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and company policies, and prepare HR reports, audits, and workforce metrics.
• Support employee engagement, retention, multi-site HR needs, process improvements, and other HR-related projects.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
