Job summary

Venteon is seeking an HR Generalist to support HR activities in a fast-paced manufacturing setting. You will work closely with plant leadership and employees, handling employee relations, recruiting, benefits, compliance and general HR administration.

You will provide day-to-day HR support for hourly and salaried employees, assist with investigations and disciplinary matters, coordinate onboarding and orientation, administer leaves and benefits, and maintain HR records.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business or related field.
• 3+ years of HR Generalist or similar HR experience.
• Experience supporting hourly and salaried employees.
• Experience working with HRIS/timekeeping systems.

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day HR support for hourly and salaried employees.

• Support recruiting, interviewing, hiring and onboarding activities.
• Coordinate new employee orientation.
• Administer FMLA, leaves of absence and employee benefit inquiries.

• Support workforce changes including transfers, layoffs and recalls.
• Assist with HR policies, procedures and employee handbook administration.
• Support EEO, affirmative action and other employment compliance requirements.
• Coordinate employee training and development activities.
• Prepare recurring HR reports and workforce information.
• Partner with plant managers and supervisors on employee and HR-related matters.
• Support employee engagement programs and plant events.
