Job summary

The Recruiting Hive is seeking a Manufacturing HR Coordinator in Michigan to support a fast-paced production team. You will handle daily HR duties, onboarding, payroll data entry, and compliance while working closely with an experienced HR Manager.

Qualifications

• > Minimum of a high school diploma; post education is highly preferred.
• "> At least two years of experience in a similar human resources role.
• "> Experience supporting HR functions in manufacturing environments.
• "> Well-rounded HR generalist background.
• "> Experience recruiting general labor positions.
• "> Proficiency with Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• > Daily staff & leadership support: main contact for hourly personnel and production leaders on attendance, policies, performance, and inquiries.
• "> Recruiting & onboarding: partner with HR Manager and staffing agencies to recruit for hourly manufacturing roles and facilitate onboarding/orientation.
• "> HRIS, payroll & data entry: data entry into payroll and HRIS, support timekeeping/payroll, filing, maintain records.
• "> Compliance & leave administration: assist with audits, ensure labor law/policy adherence, track training, administer FMLA and workers’ comp.
• "> Culture, engagement & operations: lead recognition, wellness programs, and events; manage uniforms and vendor relations.
