Job summary

Eden Capital Careers is seeking a Manufacturing HR Coordinator to join a stable automotive manufacturing team in St. Joseph, MI.

You will operate as a generalist, supporting hourly personnel and production leaders with attendance, onboarding, payroll data entry, and compliance tasks. You will collaborate with an energetic HR Manager, drive employee recognition and engagement, and help manage benefits, leaves, and performance processes in a fast-paced plant.

Qualifications

• Minimum of a high school diploma; post education is highly preferred.
• At least two years of experience in a similar HR role.
• Experience supporting HR functions in manufacturing environments.
• Well-rounded HR generalist background.
• Experience recruiting general labor positions.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Daily Staff & Leadership Support: primary contact for hourly personnel and production leaders on attendance, policies, performance, and inquiries.
• Recruiting & Onboarding: partner with HR Manager and agencies to recruit for hourly manufacturing roles and complete new-hire paperwork.
• HRIS, Payroll & Data Entry: handle data entry into payroll and HRIS systems and maintain employee records.
• Compliance & Leave Administration: assist with audits, track training, and administer leaves and workers’ compensation.
• Culture, Engagement & Operations: lead recognition, wellness programs, and employee events; oversee vendor programs.
