RON SUNSHINE ASSOCIATES LLC is seeking a Manufacturing HR Coordinator in Saint Joseph, MI. You will work as a generalist supporting hourly staff, assist with recruiting, onboarding, payroll data entry, and compliance in a busy automotive-oriented plant environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum of a high school diploma; post education is highly preferred
• At least two years of experience in a similar HR role
• Experience supporting HR functions in manufacturing environments
• Well-rounded HR generalist background
• Experience recruiting general labor positions
• Microsoft Office

Responsibilities

• Daily Staff & Leadership Support: serve as the primary point of contact for hourly personnel and production leaders on attendance, policies, performance, and general inquiries
• Recruiting & onboarding: partner with HR Manager and staffing agencies to recruit for hourly manufacturing positions, complete new-hire paperwork, and onboarding/orientation
• HRIS, Payroll & Data Entry: handle data entry into payroll and HRIS systems, support timekeeping/payroll processes, filing, and maintaining records
• Compliance & Leave Administration: assist with audits, ensure labor-law adherence, track training, administer FMLA/Leaves/Workers’ Compensation
• Culture, Engagement & Operations: lead employee recognition, wellness programs, and events, manage uniform program and vendor relationships
