Top Echelon Software LLC is seeking a Manufacturing HR Coordinator in the St. Joseph, MI area. This role offers true work-life balance with standard weekday hours, no weekends, and no travel, in a stable, growing automotive environment.

You will partner with an HR Manager to manage recruiting, onboarding, HRIS/payroll data entry, compliance, and employee relations for a long-tenured production team. Excellent benefits and opportunities for growth are provided.

Qualifications

• Minimum of a high school diploma; post education is highly preferred.
• At least two years of experience in a similar human resources role.
• Experience supporting HR functions in manufacturing environments.
• Well-rounded HR generalist background.
• Experience recruiting general labor positions.
• Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Daily Staff & Leadership Support: Serve as the primary point of contact for hourly personnel and production leaders on attendance, policies, performance, and general inquiries.
• Recruiting & Onboarding: Partner with the HR Manager and third-party staffing agencies to recruit for hourly manufacturing positions, complete new-hire paperwork, and facilitate onboarding/orientation.
• HRIS, Payroll & Data Entry: Handle extensive data entry into payroll and HRIS systems, support timekeeping/payroll processes, complete physical and electronic filing, and maintain accurate employee records.
• Compliance & Leave Administration: Assist with compliance audits, ensure adherence to labor laws and company policies, track required employee training, and help administer FMLA, leaves of absence, and Workers’ Compensation.
• Culture, Engagement & Operations: Lead employee recognition, wellness programs, and team event planning, while overseeing operational tasks like managing the uniform program and third-party vendor.
