Sun Recruiting, Inc. is seeking a Human Resources Generalist to partner with operations in Dayton, Ohio, handling day-to-day HR inquiries, employee relations, and programs in a busy manufacturing setting.

The role reports to the VP of HR and interacts with a team of HR professionals. The position focuses on employee engagement, recruiting and onboarding, and ensuring compliance with labor laws while supporting timekeeping, payroll, and records.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent experience in HR.
• 3–5 years of manufacturing HR experience is required.
• Experience with benefits administration, FMLA, and compliance is preferred.
• Strong employee relations skills and knowledge of HR policies.

Responsabilidades

• Serve as the primary HR contact for hourly staff and production leaders regarding policies, attendance, performance, and general inquiries.
• Partner with hiring managers and recruiters to fill hourly manufacturing roles and oversee onboarding.
• Collaborate with operations leadership to resolve issues and support timekeeping, payroll, and recordkeeping.
• Ensure compliance with labor laws, company policies, training, audits, leaves of absence, FMLA, and Workers' Compensation.
• Lead engagement, wellness, and recognition programs while tracking turnover and staffing trends.
