Job summary

Markent Personnel in Dayton, OH seeks a hands-on Human Resources Generalist to support hourly staff and production leaders. The role emphasizes employee relations, recruiting, onboarding, and HR operations in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Reporting to the VP of HR, you will drive engagement, ensure policy compliance, and contribute to wellness and analytics initiatives while maintaining a strong work-life balance with on-site hours Monday–Friday.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred; experience considered in lieu of degree.
• 3–5 years of manufacturing HR experience.
• Experience in benefits administration, recruitment, FMLA, and compliance.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary HR contact for hourly staff and production leaders regarding policies, attendance, performance, and inquiries.
• Partner with hiring managers to fill hourly manufacturing roles and oversee onboarding.
• Collaborate with leadership to resolve issues and support payroll, timekeeping, and recordkeeping.
• Ensure compliance with labor laws, policies, audits, leaves of absence, and workers’ compensation.
