Job summary

MJ Recruiters, LLC is seeking a hands-on Human Resources Generalist for a manufacturing environment in Dayton, OH. You will partner with operations to handle day-to-day HR inquiries and employee relations, reporting to the VP of HR.

Responsibilities include recruiting and onboarding, benefits administration, timekeeping, payroll support, and HR compliance. You’ll lead engagement, wellness, and analytics programs while maintaining work-life balance with flexible scheduling and rare weekend

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of manufacturing HR experience or similar environment.
• Experience handling employee relations, policy interpretation, and HR inquiries.
• Strong communication and collaboration with operations.
• Knowledge of timekeeping, payroll support, and compliance requirements.

Responsibilities

• Employee & Operational HR Support: primary HR contact for staff and supervisors.
• Recruiting & Onboarding: partner with managers to fill roles and onboard new hires.
• Employee Relations & Administration: resolve issues, support timekeeping and records.
• Compliance & HR Operations: ensure legal compliance, policies, audits, and leaves.
• Culture, Wellness & Analytics: lead engagement and measure HR metrics.
