Job summary

ASHFORD CONNEX, LLC in Saint Joseph, MI is seeking a Manufacturing HR Coordinator to support hourly personnel and production leaders with attendance, onboarding, payroll data entry, and HRIS administration. You will partner with the HR Manager to recruit for hourly manufacturing roles and ensure compliance across labor policies.

Qualifications

• Minimum of a high school diploma; post education is highly preferred.
• At least two years of experience in a similar human resources role.
• Experience supporting HR functions in manufacturing environments.
• Well-rounded HR generalist background.

Responsibilities

• Serve as primary point of contact for hourly personnel and production leaders on attendance, policies, performance, and inquiries.
• Partner with HR Manager and staffing agencies to recruit for hourly manufacturing positions and facilitate onboarding.
• Handle data entry into payroll and HRIS systems; support timekeeping/payroll processes; maintain records.
• Assist with compliance audits, labor law adherence, and training tracking; help with FMLA and Workers’ Compensation.
• Lead employee recognition, wellness programs, and event planning; assist with vendor management.
