Job summary

Johnson Controls, Inc. seeks a Manufacturing Engineering Leader to guide a team of engineers and technicians in high-volume production environments. You will lead tool, control, and process development with a Lean mindset to support fabrication and assembly operations.

Responsibilities include team development, performance management, and collaboration with Operations, Quality, NPI, and suppliers to meet CI savings goals and drive continuous improvement initiatives across value streams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field.
• 8+ years in Manufacturing Engineering/Operations in high-volume settings.
• 5+ years of people leadership, coaching 4+ engineers.
• Proven track record in Lean, Kaizen, and continuous improvement.
• Experience with capital projects, budgeting, and vendor management.

Responsibilities

• Manage Manufacturing Engineering personnel and Lean professionals.
• Lead engineers and technicians to design tools, controls, and processes.
• Develop future-state vision and drive implementation plans.
• Collaborate with Operations, Quality, NPI, and suppliers to improve production systems.
• Provide guidance on technical strategies and drive talent development.
• Foster a diverse, safety-focused, high-performance environment.
