Job summary

Johnson Controls in Texas seeks an experienced Manufacturing Engineering Manager to lead a team of engineers and technicians in designing and improving tools, controls, equipment, and processes for commercial fabrication and assembly. You will drive Lean initiatives, develop future state plans, and coach staff to meet site and value-stream goals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field.
• 8+ years manufacturing/production operations and/or manufacturing engineering experience with 5+ years in supervision.
• Experience with Lean layouts and Six Sigma principles.

Responsibilities

• Lead Manufacturing Engineering team to design and develop tools, controls, equipment, and processes for fabrication and assembly.
• Drive Lean initiatives, risk assessment, and continuous improvement across value streams.
• Develop future state vision and monitor implementation plans.
• Coach and develop engineers and technicians, ensuring alignment with operations.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Operations, Maintenance, Quality, and NPI to meet program goals.
