Job summary

Johnson Controls, Inc. is seeking a Continuous Improvement professional to lead improvement initiatives across production systems. You will assess current performance, identify gaps, and design plans to achieve future-state goals, driving value through Kaizen, workshops, and strategic initiatives.

You will coach plant staff and leaders, ensuring alignment with business strategies, and collaborate with leadership to balance efficiency and customer-focused outcomes while delivering annual goals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• 5+ years experience in Continuous Improvement.
• 5 years’ experience as an operational frontline leader.
• Proven ability to drive change and motivate teams.
• Solid leadership skills across levels (vertical/horizontal).
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint).

Responsibilities

• Identify gaps in plant metrics and develop strategy to reach future state.
• Develop and monitor implementation plans for CI projects.
• Coach frontline staff and leaders in JCBS methodologies.
• Ensure process owners are involved in SW development and team leadership.
• Create and maintain a CI roadmap aligning with business priorities.
• Deliver annual plant goals and share best practices.
