The position requires a BS in engineering, 8+ years in manufacturing with 5+ years in supervision, and a proven track record in project management and cost estimating.

Qualifications

• University degree in engineering or equivalent
• 8+ years manufacturing/production experience with 5+ years supervisory/management
• Track record in project management execution and high performance
• Hands-on cost estimating, project management, and supplier/ vendor interactions
• Strong knowledge of Lean layouts and Six Sigma/Lean principles
• Experience with manufacturing process improvement and production tools

Responsibilities

• Manage Manufacturing Engineering team activities and resource allocation
• Lead engineers/technicians to design and develop tools, controls, equipment, and processes
• Develop production methods and layouts with Lean mindset; interface with quality control
• Provide direction and guidance to staff; monitor performance
• Align resources and identify improvement opportunities across processes
• Build relationships with cross-functional teams (Operations, Maintenance, Quality, NPI)
• Ensure inputs from internal/external customers are understood and plans executed
• Recruit, coach, and develop organizational talent
• Uphold company vision/values and drive continuous improvement
