Johnson Controls seeks a Production Manager to lead the assigned production area, ensuring safety, quality and efficiency while coordinating with in-house departments and supervising production supervisors.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with 6+ years as a Production Supervisor in manufacturing, or an Associate degree with 8+ years in manufacturing.
• Proficiency using MS Office Suite.
• Ability to work 2nd Shift: 2:00PM-10:00PM, Monday–Friday, with weekend overtime as needed.

Responsibilities

• Direct production supervisors and coordinate work across manufacturing processes.
• Maintain safety, quality, efficiency, scrap and production schedules.
• Train and develop production staff; manage overtime and staffing.
• Monitor attendance and coordinate schedule adjustments with departments.
• Lead Lean initiatives, 5S, Kaizen events and continuous improvement.
• Drive Lean problem-solving, reduce scrap/rework and ensure KPI targets.
