Job summary

Northrop Grumman seeks a Manager Manufacturing Engineering 2 to lead manufacturing processes, drive producibility and cost improvements, and oversee a team of engineers. You will guide process development for AIMS products, coordinate with management and customers, and ensure quality and schedule adherence in radar-related hardware environments.

Requirements include a BS in engineering, 8+ years in manufacturing/management, and the ability to obtain a Secret clearance. U.S.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering or related STEM area.
• Experience in manufacturing, management, and project management.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret Clearance.
• U.S. Citizenship.

Responsibilities

• Personnel management duties including supporting career development, employee engagement, time approval, staffing, yearly reviews, and related activities.
• Oversight of direct reports on projects developing or maintaining Manufacturing Processes within AIMS, providing superior customer satisfaction.
• Process owner for AIMS Product & Process development including producibility, affordability, quality, and roadmaps.
• Brief upper management, project management and customers on process technology and status.
• Collaborate with area management, SMEs, suppliers to troubleshoot and solve issues related to production of AIMS products.
• Support Manufacturing Process development including all aspects of producibility, affordability, quality, and roadmaps.
• Collaborate with manufacturing team for quotations clarity and knowledge transfer.
• Coordinate capital equipment planning and project budgets.
