Northrop Grumman in Waynesboro, VA seeks a Manufacturing and Equipment Engineering Manager to lead a team of engineers and drive manufacturing processes from design to execution. A current clearance is not required to interview, but DoD secret clearance eligibility is mandatory to obtain clearance if offered.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Engineering or STEM with 8+ years in manufacturing/engineering.
• Master’s degree with 6+ years in manufacturing/engineering.
• 5+ years of team lead/supervisor experience.
• DoD Secret clearance capability and US citizenship required.

Responsabilités

• Design, document and implement manufacturing processes and detailed assembly instructions.
• Develop and maintain manufacturing routings and standards to support schedules, labor, facilities, equipment, tooling and materials.
• Lead technical oversight for manufacturing and equipment engineering activities; guide engineers on the factory floor.
• Establish and manage continuous improvement projects and support safety, quality, delivery and cost metrics.
• Create and support a Predictive and Preventive Maintenance Program for machinery and equipment.
